| The Craft, Quilt and Stitch show was held at the Claremont Showgrounds on July 30 to August 1, 2010.
The show was a craft show with a large bear focus, held at the fairgrounds which attracted about 150 stands that exhibited everything for quilter's, sewer's and crafter's.
One of the show features was a teddy bear competition/challenge.
1- Create any bear from a particular wool
2- Use the challenge pattern, to make a bear any size and colour.
Linda Down demonstrated needle felting and Helen gave a demonstration on working with recycled mink and Fimo Teddy Bear noses. Throughout each day there were various other demonstration and workshops for quilter's and sewers.
We had lots of fun and held workshops from learning how to work with mink,
felting a face, working with miniatures, and ladder stitching.
The 2010 WA Teddy Bear Challenge is superbly organized by Jennie and her terrific team at The Teddy Tree in Mount Hawthorn. Show page.
There was a great turn out and a wonderful weekend
