The first doll and teddy bear show was held the 2nd and 3rd of April 2011, in Hasselt, Belgium, it
was great.
A first show always is exited, but also a little scary, as
you never know if it will be a success; and it was a big success!
Susan
Wolters again did a wonderful job of promoting the teddy bear and doll show. The show was well visited by many
bear and doll lovers and many bears and dolls did find a new home.
Bear and doll making was promoted through several workshops during the
show. It was possible to join the workshops, they were taught during
the shows. These workshops attract lots of attention and interest, I
think it is was a great idea to show this to the public, as many do not
know that there are courses and workshops in bear and doll making like
this.
If you ever get a
chance to visit the show in person, please do!

This pictures shows a view of the entire hall. Teddy Bear and Doll artists exhibited. |

Workshops were held throughout the day. Everyone enjoyed learning. |

ProBear set up a large tables for the many workshop participants. |

Of course vintage toys and animals are presented as well. |

I was lucky with my big table, there was space to display my
bears along with a big collection mini fabrics. So many different colours which
makes it fun to choose from. |
| |

Bunnies had a place in the show along with many dolls too |

This booth is like candy for needle felters. Many beautiful colors of wool to choose from. |

It is great to see how a teeny tiny bear can bring such a big smile on peoples faces! |

I thought this "sale" (uitverkoop) announcement was a cute display. |

A few mice were spotted in the show with other stuffed friends like bunnies, cats, and pigs. |
