| The 2010 Japan Teddy Bear Festival drew a great crowd.
On the first floor was a fairly large area of Japanese fabrics. On our floor there 142 vendor tables, some selling fabric others with antiques, bear artists and shop vendors. There was a variety of things to keep the collectors in the room all day long.
The show started at 10:00 for an extra fee collectors could come in early but the buzz started at 11:00 am when the general public arrived.
I watched a lot of the collectors scrambling in their quest to get to their favorite artist's table first.
The room stayed busy till 5:00 p.m. when the show closed.
Sunday was a little quieter but still had a nice crowd.
There were a teddy bear artist from all over the world. We met artist from Japan, China, United Kingdom, New Zealand, just to name a few. We were the only ones from the USA.
It was a wonderful to meet some of Art's collectors. One mom, dad and their daughter, who collect Art's work, rode the train for 3 hours to come to the show and meet Art in person. It meant a lot to her to meet him.
A great time was had by all and I would highly recommend the show to anyone. Tokyo was great. It is a as very clean city and the Japanese people were very friendly to us.
