| The teddy bear show is held every year in combination with the entire town of Ladbergen, Germany, celebrating.
The weekend is called "Ladbergen Brumt" which translated to English mans the "Growlings in Ladbergen." You see bears everywhere! It was wonderful to participate in this 16th annual show considering things were slow last year. But this year's turn out was very successful. All tables were booked and artist are put on the waiting list. The 2010 show is already planned for May 29 and 30th. |

Let the Show Begin! |
To make the waiting time shorter while in line, and throughout the 2 days, regular music bands played on the stage. |

Each year a limited edition bear is made for the show with a special theme. Rüdiger Lübben presents the astronaut Neil Armstrong in teddy-bear. Limited edition of 59 pieces. |
Bear Artist were very happy that the Ladbergen bear show will continue and to say thank you the surprised Rüdiger Lübben, the show organizer with a collage filled with signatures from all artist. Rüdiger Lübben was touched by their thoughtfulness. |

The show is spread in 3 locations. This gym hall is where I had my table. Two other locations were the Town Hall and Hotel. Bears in the competition were exhibited in the Bank. |
For the children were many attractions, one of them was the train which ran up and down the main street. |

| In one of my earlier show reviews I wrote that Goldsmid Diana was making my multiple award winner; N.O.S.T.© (New Old Style Bear) in silver charm. My bear lived with her for over a half year so she could catch the design in silver. I was so pleased with the results! During the show my N.O.S.T.© bear was displayed at Diana table, wearing his mini copy in silver. www.goudsmederijmd.nl |

Street feast was going on while the teddy bear show was open. You can see and get an impression of what is going on outside at the festival. People enjoyed all the activities and good food. |

I would like to congratulate the organizer, Rüdiger Lübben and all his assistants back stage for this wonderful event, I really enjoyed being part of the show and have already signed up for next year.
Also thank you to Claudia Schlue for spreading the word through the Net featuring the show on the special web site she designed.

A wonderful weekend, maybe a little bit to much heat for some off us, but successfully!
