The show in Lindau, Bodensee was the 7th Sea-Bear-Festival held on 24 and 25, July 2010. Lindau is a wonderful area along a lake.
The
weather was not very nice on these days, lots of rain but that was good for the show.
Many visitors came who much preferred being inside than outside. |

Exhibitors are ready for the collectors. Only a few minutes before the
doors open for the 7th Sea Bears Festival in Lindau.

Anny Wischin uses a combination from Cernit and fabric to create her
animals.
The Church rats are full of detail, the pigs are fun!

Her

more.

Christiane Egersdörfer has been making bears since 2007 and she has won many
awards with her creations full of fantasy like Captain Hook, Peter Pan
and Tinkerbell and the "Ulmer Bär". She recently opened a
wonderful shop (I know, because on our way home we made a stop there!) Ulm is where she sells bear supplies and other unique fibers and
yarns. She also teaches workshops.
If you are in the Ulm-Söflingen area the shop is really worth a visit.

Corinne Schröder not only is a bear artist herself but also the
organizer of Sigriswiler Bärenfest which will take place on 14 and 15
of August 2010. About 80 exhibitors will participate and be in different locations around
Sigriswil which makes it a festival for the entire village.
Corinne's bears are fun, like Alibaba and the 40 bandits and she
makes cute and old time teddy bears too.

The HukePuk® Art Collection is the idea from Margret Venzel. The table
with all the strange but very funny and so cute animals got my
attention. As I spoke to Margret she told me that all these creatures
live in HukePuk land. Each creation comes with his/her own story. There
are Lucky Birds, There is Gugu, Figaro, Farinja, Chili and Concarne and the bears Balthasar, Paganini, Tathu and Pepper. All the creations
from Margaret are limited editions.

It was fun to see the baby monkey, made by Petra Breimaier.
Petra makes
realistic baby dolls and enjoyed making the real life-size baby monkey
for her friend.

Olga crochet bears since 2008.
The yarn she is using to crochet, stretches your imagination as the bears do not look like they are crochet.

Gabriele Holzwarth is working to fill up the quiet hours on the show.
Maybe another pincushion... which sure will be picked up by someone quickly.
Besides the pincushions very cute little bears you'll find on Gabriele's
table.

The Teddies and animals from Petra Ritter are happy colorful little
fellows, like Petra herself. The hippos are so cute and I can't wait to
see her next hippos with spots!

Sabine loves to make old style bears
using different mediums.
Her last new bear though is the whimsical
little fellow with heart shaped embroidered nose and carry his heart
under his bent arm.

Shirley can be found at bear shows but most often at miniature shows.
Shirley makes incredible tiny bears and animals with sizes starting at 1 cm
(less then a half of an inch) up to 20 cm. It also is possible to make
your own teeny tiny creatures with one of Shirley's kits.

It always is fun to see the booth of Martina Lehr. Fun and nostalgic
combined on one table.
Martina celebrates 15 years of Teddy-Ecke on Saturday 4 September in
and around her shop in Michelstadt Germany.
