Teddy Bear pioneers Doris and Terry Michaud continue to conduct their annual British tours and have completed plans for the next tour, June 25 to July 5, 2010. They invite you to come and have an experience of a lifetime!

The tours are primarily made up of Teddy Bear collectors, but the Michaud's learned years ago that people collect more than one category, so their tours are now billed as collector tours.

Most of their guests are repeaters from prior trips, but Terry says " We still have spaces available for the coming tour." 

This year they will headquarter in the 4-Star Ashford International Hotel that is centrally located in Southeast England. We make day trips by private coach to various venues.

We stay at the Gatwick Moat House near airport for the first and last days of our tour and we will enjoy dinner and a full English breakfast here.

Our seven night tour accommodation will be at Ashford International Hotel just west of Dover in southeast England. Staying at a central location means no packing and unpacking each day! We travel by private coach daily. As an added bonus, this hotel has a swimming pool!

Meals

The tour includes dinner on the first and last night, with a full English breakfast each morning. 

• Visit to Sue Pearson’s  teddy bear and antique shop in Lewes.
• Day trip to Bolougne, France by private coach.
• Dover Castle, a monumental historic site.
• Visit to Rye teddy bear shop, street market, antiques and more! 
• Visit to the seaside resort of Eastbourne where you'll discover teddy shops, charity shops, etc.
• Antique shops & fairs. Visit to a genuine British Boot sale, where folks actually sell goods from the trunk of their car - from the boot!  
• A  Mystery tour with delightful surprises  -   visits to venues with antique shops, gift shops, something for everyone.  
• Castle and English Garden visits.  
• Additional surprises to be added! 
• Monthly updates will be sent to you with details of each venue on our schedule. 
• Wow!  We added an extra day to the tour next year just to handle it all!

Highlights of the tour will be the visit to Pooh Corner and Poohsticks Bridge.

Memories of the 2009 Tour

"As you can see we had a wonderful time," said Terry of last year's tour.

"This year's guests came from 7 states and from Germany and most are dedicated Teddy Bear people," said Doris.

Lovely English gardens are always an important and welcome stop on our tours.

Southeast England has the highest number of gardens in all of Britain.
