The dates are set. We will be departing June 9th and returning June 19, 2011, with a whirlwind of activities in between!

This will be the final tour after 27 years of taking guests to our favorite country. Our tours have always enjoyed top reviews, and many of our guests have been repeat guests - some as many as 8 times!

We will cram a bounty of things to do, places to see into the 9 days of our visit centered in the south east section of England.

Because we organize our tours to headquarter primarily in one hotel and do day trips by private coach from there each day, it gives us more time to enjoy the venues, and no packing and moving from one hotel to another as most tours do.

We will spend our first and last night in a 4 star hotel near Heathrow Airport, which gives everyone a chance to get together and be ready to start our schedule of activities.

We will include visits to two of England's best teddy bear shops - Asquiths in Henley-on-Thames, and Sue Pearson's shop in Lewes. We will also visit the showroom and factory of Canterbury Bears, then spend time in the city seeing the sites there, including one of England's most magnificent cathedrals.

We plan to take in a British Boot Sale (similar to our flea markets) where lots of treasures can be discovered and there will be no shortage of Antique shops and centres in some of the towns and villages on our itinerary.

The tour would not be complete without a visit to one or more British Castles and Gardens, and this part of England is known as the garden centre of the country, with castles everywhere!

One activity that is always a hit, is a stop at a British Tea room for tea and scones, or one of their many incredible desserts. Best to go on a diet long before the tour starts, so you can leave your diet behind and accept the fact you will likely gain a pound or two.

We also encourage our guests to get in shape before the tour, as there is plenty of walking to cover the castles, gardens, shopping villages, etc.

Tour cost for this final adventure is $2,495.00 per person based on double occupancy. For a single room, add $420.00. Best to bring a friend and save that added cost for teddies!

We try to line up room mates for guests willing to share.

Tour cost does not include airfare, as our guests arrive in London from a number of different States and from Germany as well.

There is plenty of room on our private coach, but we are limited in the number of hotel rooms available, so if you want to be included on this final voyage, plan to reserve your spot soon.

Tour cost does include a Travel Insurance policy that covers medical expenses, trip cancellation, etc.

British architecture is fascinating, dating back many centuries and house many intriguing shops!
