Bears&Buds' believe and has established a ‘popular vote’ contest format for the Annual URSA Awards Competition. We feel our audience of readers, collectors and members are more than capable of judging and voting their choices. People like having the ability to influence results. The vote-power is with the people who participate. Ask your friends to vote too!

In the first round of voting, you selected the top winners in each of the URSA Awards categories. The artists now have advanced to the Final Round which will determine  the winner of the prestigious URSA Major Award - Best Overall.

The artists shown on the voting page are listed by Category Number and not by position won. On viewing the page, the artists will know that they have won a award but they don't know, at this time, if they have won First Place, Second Place or Third Place.

You'll be casting just ONE VOTE for your favorite bear, bud or artist in this final round of voting. The votes will be tallied and added to the artist's accumulated votes for the distribution of prizes, gifts and cash cards!

Special, easy-to-use voting software allows for one vote per computer. Votes are audited daily for accuracy and authenticity.

Dear Bears&Bids Editor,

   I recently received an eMail from a friend telling me that I would enjoy a web site called Bears&Buds. She explained what it was about and told me I would really be impressed.

   When I went to the web site I saw that there was a contest with different categories where I could vote for the bear of my choice.

    Well, I was so taken back by the fabulous artistry that it took me a very long time to decide which creations I would vote for. I agonized over choosing only one! I looked for several minutes in each entry because of the details these artist showed in their creations is amazing!

   I just can't say enough about the creative artists and I can't wait until a teddy bear show comes to my area to see the bears and meet the artists.

  Good luck to each artists who have created such wonderful works of art. It's a shame there can only be one winner in each category because all of the entries deserve to win. I saw no losers because each one was perfection to me.
