Sneak Peek! "Shhhhh! Here in the Brewery, we keep our newest concoctions TOP SECRET, especially when they employ exotic ingredients that introduce bold new concepts of brewing! This is a rare glimpse of an exciting prototype for a brand new innovative batch.  We call her FANTASIA, who stands a whopping 10.25 inches (26.5 cm) tall. Carefully developed from sparse ratinee mohair.  As you can see, she features painted paw pads and unique sculpted ultrasuede eyelids.  Her large feet make her free-standing and she has fetching "alive eyes."  Once Fantasia is fully matured, I will be testing more bears in this style!" Homebrewed Bears are based in Auckland, New Zealand and are all original recipes hand-brewed by me, Leith Macdonald.

Together we work to create Homebrewed Bears

for the discerning and adventurous connoisseur.

The exact recipes used in the brewing of our bears

are, of course, a closely guarded family secret. 

However we can reveal that they generally contain

the following key ingredients:

Schulte mohair (sometimes dyed by hand )
Glass eyes
Accents in ultrasuede, upholstery velvet or felt
Cotterpin joints
Polyfil and garnet gravel stuffing
Sewing everything by hand

Each recipe is generally used only once. 

The exception is the recipe used for Hubble,

our first teddy and now mascot. 

Hubble proved so popular, he became an open edition.
