•  Auto exposure/focus using a Zeiss holographic scanner

•  Light source selection (fluorescent, incandescent, sunny, cloudy, etc.)

Light Tent Used?  

Yes -- a portable, homemade one on wheels.  Inside are banks of light fixtures outfitted with fluorescent bulbs of types

1) daylight, 2) utility, and 3) kitchen/bath – used

in combination, for truer colors with fewer color

casts.  “Sometimes I wheel the whole table outdoors

to gain even more light. ” Michelle’s “Biggest tip:

as much light as possible, as diffused as possible”

to avoid harsh shadows and “hot spots.”
